The Gwinnett County Master Gardeners Association had the opportunity to partner with Whole Foods Market in providing informational tables on healthy eating and horticulture in the State Bridge Road store on January 16. For participation in this event, Whole Foods Market has provided a donation to support GCMGA project grants.To make this event a success, 27 members contributed their time and expertise to educated the community in the importance of growing healthy foods and promoting a healthy environment. Special recognition goes to Rosalie Tubre for coordinating this event with Whole Foods Market.
The GCMGA will continue to provide monthly “Ask a Master Gardener” events at Whole Foods Market each month. These events provide an opportunity for MG Extension Service volunteer hours and the potential for other partnerships with Whole Foods.
