Our August 19th meeting featured Charles Andrews who shared his knowledge of North American Azaleas. President of the Azalea Society of America, he has been studying North American azaleas in the field and literature for over 40 years. His in-depth knowledge and presentation was well received and gave information on the different species as well as native species in the Southeast. He also shared where to obtain those cultivars.
